RRB Recruitment 2020: New Vacancies Issued by East Coast Railway; Apply now
During the coronavirus outbreak, the East Coast Railway (ECR) has invited new vacancies for paramedical staff (Staff Nurse / Nursing Superintendent) and other posts.The application process will end on May 22, 2020. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their application before the application window closes.
East Coast Railway has left a total of 663 vacancies on its official website Eastcostrail.indianrail.gov.in.

- Pharmacist - 51 posts
- Dresser / OTA / Hospital Attendant (Level-1) - 255 posts
- Contract Medical Practitioner (GDMO) - 102 posts
East Coast Railway Nursing Superintendent and other post eligibility criteria
Educational Qualification:
- Nursing Superintendent - To apply for the post, one should have passed a three-year course in General Nursing and Midwifery from a School of Nursing or other institution recognized by the Council of Nursing of India or B.Sc. (Nursing)
- Contract Medical Practitioner (GDMO) - MBBS from Indian Medical Council and with registration in Indian Medical Council, or compulsory, after completion of one year of Rotary internship, with valid registration certificates of State Medical Council of India. No other certificates will be accepted.
- Pharmacist - Passed 12th Science or its equivalent from a recognized institute with Pharmacy in Pharmacy and registered as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act 1988 or Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B. Pharma) from a recognized University or registered as a Pharmacist Act, 1948
- Dresser / OTA / Hospital Attendants (Level-1) - 10th pass aspirants can apply
- East Coast Railway Recruitment Salary Details:
Candidates who qualify in the examination will be paid according to the post:
- GDMO - Rs. 75,000 (including HRA and transport allowance)
- Other - Railway Board Credit No. 2017 / TRANS / 01 / POLICY / PT..L. Candidates based on the agreement dated 12.04.2018 will be paid at the relevant level entry-level salary in the salary matrix. Along with DA, housing allowance, hospital patient care allowance, etc. In each class
Age limit:-
- GDMO - 53 years
- Nursing Superintendent - 20 to 38 years
- Dresser / OTA / Hospital Attendant (Level-1) - 18 to 33 years
- Pharmacist - 20 to 35 years
